In Outside Masks we're inspired by the Artist Eko Nugroho and learn about his fabric street art and why he makes masks!
This Art Club is built for primary aged children and their parents/carers to spend time making art together. All children to be accompanied by an adult participant.
What to expect : each family pair/group will look at Nugroho's masks and paintings for inspiration about their own surroundings. We'll build our own masks that show our perspective on our world here in Wales. At 5pm we'll display our masks for the group.
What you take home : Take home your masks.
What to bring : Nothing to bring, but take time to think about the places, people and things you see everyday that are part of your routine or are important to you.
Do you feed an animal each morning?
Do you live in the town or up a mountain?
Do you cycle, walk, scoot or drive to school?
Is nature part of your life or are you a city person?
where were your born? have you travelled to different places?
