In Lily Pond we're inspired by the Artist Claude Monet and learn about his love for his lily pond and gardens!
This Art Club is built for primary aged children and their parents/carers to spend time making art together. All children to be accompanied by an adult participant.
What to expect : each family pair/group will make their own lily pads and pond creatures to go around them. Everyone will work together to build a life size lily pond good enough for Monet.
What you take home : Take home your lilypads and creatures, the pond will be put away and recycled appropriately.
What to bring : Nothing to bring, but take time to remember some of the animals that live in our summer gardens and parks. Maybe a good talking point to ask where they all are in the winter.
Mess Level : We will be cutting, sticking, using felt tip pens and playdough. If you feel your child gets quite messy please bring messy play clothes.
How to find us : We are in the creative classroom upstairs in Abergavenny Community Centre (we are not in the main hall). Look out for our PAWB ARTS -ART CLUB signs outside!
Access to the car park is via Merthyr Road, Abergavenny NP7 5BY.
Accessibility : Please get in touch if you have any requirements and we'll make sure you are accomodated appropriately
